Tornado Hits Central and Southern California

A rare tornado officially hits Central and Southern California, along with a gale-force winds and water, the winds is said to be 70 to 80 mph. The National Weather Service issued warning before the winds actually touched down California. That warning expired at 1:15, but one issued slightly after 1 was continued until 2 p.m.in Orange County, including the cities of Anaheim, Fullerton, Irvine, Santa Ana, Seal Beach and Huntington Beach.

According to some witnesses, seeing tornado touched down the beaches, with the gale-force winds, the tornado lifting boats in Orange County 30 to 50 feet causing huge flooding and wreckage to houses and and other properties. This leads inhabitants affected to evacuate.

Authorities plan to evacuate 489 homes in the mudslide-prone foothill areas including La CaƱada Flintridge on Wednesday morning in advance of the storm.
